Peachy09 (Ashlyn) (835.8 days ago) I do shoulder length with some layers. I used to do long & straightened it but it takes a long time especially with kids. Now I use mousse for curly hair & anti-frizz stuff when I leave it half or all down, or go with the standard ponytail. EditDelete
lovemyfamily (836.4 days ago) Thick and coarse hair is the hardest to have a wash and go style with!! lol Keep it longer so the weight will weigh in down and keep it from frizzing out. I don`t suggest a ton of layers because it will make your hair triangular. A few long layers would be nice though!! What`s really easy too if you have hair that curls semi easily is get a curling gel/spray/pomade and a diffuser for the end of your hair dryer! Easiest way to have a super cute style!! EditDelete
hunnybunnysmama (836.4 days ago) mine`s pretty thick and course and I always liked the a-line look... it can be a pain unless you don`t mind straightening and I found a `wet-to-dry` straightener for like 20 bucks at Target. my new `hairdresser` recommended it and it totally kicks ass. EditDelete
luvbeingamom (836.4 days ago) My hair is VERY thick and i have it long with LOTS of layers to help thin it out some. EditDelete
Str8 As (836.4 days ago) Since it is thick and course, I would do layers and maybe get it flat ironed with at slight curl (bend at the ends) to enhance the layers. I hope that makes sense EditDelete
lovemyfamily (836.4 days ago) If your hair thick and coarse, thick and medium or thick and fine? It makes a BIG difference in what you can do with your hair! EditDelete
angie2008 (836.4 days ago) maybe some layers so it takes away some of the thickness but definitely not short layers. EditDelete
mdbabyno1 (836.4 days ago) I have it pretty long most of the time, at least an inch below shoulder length or yes, it does get too poofy! I also get lots of layers to take some of the `weight` off of it. EditDelete
ivysmomma (836.4 days ago) I have extremely thick hair and i just leave mine long because if i cut it short it looks poofy and stupid. Im trying to figure out a nice style for mine too..... EditDelete
