i had 5 IUD`s and every single on failed, some even after a year having it! One is even in my sons baby book cause its the reason he is here

I had the five year Mirena and loved it. I didn`t have to be measured for it, but I had already had a baby when I put it in. It just felt like a slightly more intense pap smear. I had some cramping for the first week, then after that, nothing. I actually stopped getting my period which I thought was fantastic. When we were ready to try for number 2, I had it taken out which again was no big deal. I thought it might take a few months to get my body back on track, but I never got my period and next thing I knew, I had a positive pregnancy test! I was preggo immediately! So for me it was a good experience and I will put another in after this pregnancy.

I had a BAD infection with it OMG! it was so bad I will never forget it!

i have a copper-gold iud. its been almost a year since i`ve had it.good thing is that it`s not hormonal (i prefer non hormonal birth control), and i don`t ever have to worry about becoming pregnant.but since i`ve put it in, i`ve had massive and painful periods, which i never had before, and i spot for about 10 days after the period is over and i also have more discharge than usual during my non-period days. its very frustrating. all in all i dont really like it, but i don`t plan on taking it out just yet.
