tto (16.4 days ago) My son got a staph infection on his bottom and I`m pretty sure it was from a public changer. I would just be sure to use some protective padding or clean it really well first and last.
LizzyB. (16.5 days ago) I try to avoid them using them, and I go out shopping a lot. I usually use the stroller that lays back too or in the car if it`s nice out. The germs on them just gross me out....I can`t even think about it right now. I`ve used them before with a pad underneath, but I don`t like to. They kind of scare me too....some of them seem so unsturdy, even if I am right there.
brooklyn143 (16.7 days ago) My daughters stroller which i normally use when we go out, lays back fully so i just changer her in the restroom in her stroller...its awesome...but yeah sometimes if its not a blow out emergency i will just to go the car, but i have had to use one before and ill just have her stand most the time and shes good at bending over lol...
mdbabyno1 (16.8 days ago) I have NEVER used one. It amazes me when I see a mom plop their child on one with nothing under neath. They are full of germs. I just take my daughter out to the car and change her there. I always put a dry diaper on right before we leave so most of the time I don`t need to change her when we are out, unless of course we are out for a long period of time.
christinaswar (16.8 days ago) NEVER NEVER NEVER!! This is one of my favorite reasons to practice elimination communication! NO need to use public changing tables!
Mommy2Chloe (16.8 days ago) I try so hard to never have to use them but if I have to I`ll wipe them with disinfectant, place towels down then place my changing pad on the paper towels. My LO caught Rotavirus when she was about 2 1/2 months old. I take no chances on her ever catching any nasty bug again!
