I took it during 2008 so I do not know if that was b4 or after it got recalled and all that stuff but it worked for me. Alli does work but it has nasty side effects- like you may literally feel anal sepage its like oil ugh TMI

I use to use the hydroxycut. Now, like Victoria, I take adipex and love it. It gives me the self control I need and the energy to be more active.

I wouldn`t use Alli. The way it works is it limits the grams of fat you can take in, and if you accidently eat too much it makes you violently ill, you basically puke up everything in your stomach and everything else comes out in diareha. Then you get really dehydrated. I`ve had a few friends end up in the hospital while on it.

I TOOK EPHEDRINE I LOST 76 LBS BEFORE I GOT PREGNANT WITH MY SECOND AND AFTER MY FIRST.......ITS BANNED ALOT OF PLACES AND YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME DOWN FOR IT WHEN YOU BUY IT......CAUSE PEOPLE USE IT TO MAKE METH BUT IT WORKS AS A APPETITE SUPPRESSER AND IT WORKS BUT YOU CANNOT TAKE IT PREGNANT!!!!!

I actually take Adipex (phentermine), which is prescribed by a Dr only. It is the ONLY thing that has helped me tremendously. I excersized and tryed to eat good and I didnt loose weight. When I started the medicine, weight fell off QUICK. The only down side of this is that its not long term so you eventually have to learn to live without it. I have been taking it for 2 months and Ive lost 15lbs so far. I love it, but I know I cant be on it for ever!!! Its so strong you will loose weight even without working out, but if you do, man you see the difference. But like I said you can only get it by a Dr`s prescription and not all Dr`s will give it. There is nothing that works like ephedra. Sorry. I also used to take ephedra. I actually took straight ephedra in college to be able to pull all nighters. You know how it makes you feel all jittery and awake? Worked wonders for long nights of studying. Anyway, I lost crazy weight without even meaning too. I could eat whatever I wanted and still just kept getting skinner. I know with alli there`s all kinds of restrictions on what you can eat. And honestly, I think that`s why you lose the weight. Not because of the pill. Anyway, sorry about the bad news. But I went through this a few years ago trying to find something that worked as well.

my SIL takes the alli pill and she swears by it! and honestly....everytime i see her (every couple weeks) she looks GREAT! she always looks a little thinner than before. Im actually contimplating on asking my dr if its safe to take while BF`ing. if not i plan on taking it after.
