Peachy09 (Ashlyn) (832.3 days ago) Besides ectopic pregnancies, two of the other more common uses for methotrexate are rheumatoid arthritis & some severe forms of psoriasis, but summerisis is right its usually in much lower doses to not affect any of the other body systems.
DiandClover (832.5 days ago) Some drugs in chemotherapy are used to treat ectopic or molar pregnancies. The drug methotrexate for example is a drug normally used in cancer treatment as part of the chemotherapy regime. I was going to be prescribed methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy in May, but it resolved on its own without the drug (thankfully - nasty stuff!)
