Lou-Li-Ro (832.2 days ago) Yes! Omg I was going to post a similar poll; my son is IMPOSSIBLE!!! He screams and squirms as though we were torturing him when we`re trying to change him! Also when we`re trying to dress him -- it`s close to impossible!
daydays mom (832.4 days ago) ha thats funny. my almost 19 month old is ROUGH changing her butt. if i try to change it on the floor she gets up and runs butt naked. so cute...but we have had trouble since shes been crawling and that was @ 9months so dont look for it to get any better hun. just going to get harder and harder.
yorkc39 (832.4 days ago) yes, poopie diapers are horrible when she`s really squirmy, bc i don`t want it going everywhere! She will stay for a moment or two if i give her something to hold or be firm and say stop it, but only for a brief moment. Milk works the best, lol
femi (832.4 days ago) Same problem here. It`s funny how we can have kids with different personalities and yet the same developmentally-related issues! So, we try to distract her with new items or forbidden items that she can touch for that little while. Sometimes, I have to be firm and she hates when I point my finger at her and say, `Stop it.` So that usually gets her crying, which sucks, but man does it keep her still! Not suggesting that, but basically just saying that sometimes you need to be a little more `firm` or `strict` with changings because the fighting back can get tiring especially with poopie diapers! Of course, see if the distractions help first ... even cookies or candies! I`ve used many bribes to get her to stay still for a diaper change!!!! It`s slowly getting better .... slowly, slowly ....
