courtenay (830.7 days ago) i started with the potty right before she started walking, obviously not hardcore or anything but just letting her get familiar with it since she was interested, and she is 12 months and about 1/2 potty trained so no, not young at all.. EditDelete
luvbeingamom (831.6 days ago) That isn`t to young at all. However, keep in mind most children revert when there is a new sibling in the house. Also, if you are just starting when the baby comes (and they are not fully potty trained) it may cause issues. Good Luck. EditDelete
hopefully3 (831.7 days ago) 2 1/2 is not too young. Both of my children were potty trained by 2. i think you have plenty of time before baby is born if you stick with it and work on it with her. Good luck! EditDelete
Khloes Mommy (831.7 days ago) My dd is almost ten months we are starting as soon as she gets walking down EditDelete
MelissaJoanne (831.7 days ago) It`s never too early. We started at 3 months and has been 95% diaper-free since 8/9 months. We`ll plan to start from birth with future children. 2 1/2 is on the old side to be starting with a girl. If you`re not due until May, why not start now? She could be done with diapers by the time your next child arrives. EditDelete
mommiekayla (831.7 days ago) My son was 2 years and 3 months old when my daughter was born and totally potty trained and like the others said, I expected him to revert back, atleast a little, but he didn`t. So you never know..I know some children may but not all do. EditDelete
mommykate (831.7 days ago) no, 2 1/2 is on the older side of potty training I think ,especially for girls... EditDelete
mommiekayla (831.7 days ago) 2 1/2 is definately not too young, as long as your consistant. My son was totally potty trained at 2..during the day and at night. You just have to be consistant, don`t give up once you start!! EditDelete
