we just bought a king serta for 450. My friend also got a queen serta for about 350.

i dunno if this helps but i bought a Serta courtland matress and boxsprings for $450 begining of this year at Big Lots, it was on sale.... i love it! I sleep sooo good and i wake up feeling ready for the day, Its amazing what a good matress will do for you. I used to wake up in the mornings and still feel exhausted.

sounds like a steal! I am shopping for a mattress for my toddler (twin size) and it seems I will be paying around 500 for a mattress and box spring

I got the bed, matress(also serta) box springs, 2 end tables a huge dresser with a mirror on it and another dresser for $800 at a local store here in town. The great thing was, they had layaway! It was all a very pretty cherry wood. It was our 3 year anniversery present to eachother and right after we got it (about a month later) we found out we were 4 weeks pregnant :)
