MTNWOMAN (17.5 days ago) I answered `I don`t know`, and since I didn`t know and I love sushi, I googled it. This is what I found: http://www.breastfeed.com/expertqa/foods-and-alcohol/will-i-be-able-to-eat-sushi-when-breastfeeding-2360 Basically, as long as it is well prepared and from a fresh good place like luvbeingamom said! Holly28 (17.6 days ago) My Dr told me that YES you can. Like luvbeingamom said just make sure the place is reputable. EditDelete
luvbeingamom (17.7 days ago) Per my doctor.... Yes you can, just make sure you know the place preparing it. Make sure it is reputable and not the local discount grocery store :-) She said the only fear when eating sushi (pregnant or bf) is bad fish and bacteria. If you go to a good place you should be fine. I did! I mainly stuck to the cooked fish (lobster, crab, cal roll) but i did have a few salmon/tuna rolls :-) I LOVE sushi and would eat it everynight if possible, but just can`t afford it. this was an important question for me with my doc!
