Izzy goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and wakes anywhere between 7 and 9 (depends on what kind of a party she had in bed the night before).

My 19 month old wakes up around 6-7am, take a 1-3 hour nap (depending on how tired she is) around 10:00, and is in bed by 6:30-7pm

16 months Bed around 8:30 up about 8:30. 2 1/2 to 3 hour nap. If she went to bed any earlier dad would not get there evening time to play. He rocks her to sleep every night. We love having our evenings together.

I sware we try to keep a routine- my 23 month old (from the 18+ month point) is an absolute insomniac- he is so hyper but some days he doesnt even require more than a 15min cat nap and would stay up as long as we did if we let him. I try to make sure he is in his room in his bed by 8-9ish but most nights I will end up having to get him b/c he wil still be up. He turns his TV on himself and it is just getting very frustrating. He always wakes up b/t 6-8am depending and I am desperate to get him to stick to routine- Ive tryed everything to tire him out to no avail. Im at my whits end lol.

Both my boys, 24 months and 4 yrs, go to bed at 7:30pm and wake around 6:30 or 7am. I have tried a later bedtime to wake up later but it just makes them cranky from lack of sleep (i gave them a month to adjust, it just didn`t take. Its ok, it works for us).

  5. OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!

  8. I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.

  10. Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
