Baby-poll poll My son is only two months old and I`m already thinking about baby number 2. Which do you think is better, children close in age or with several years apart in age?
(Baby poll by NeverPreggers, 18 days ago)

I have a brother 1 year younger than me, one 2 years older than me, twin brothers 5 years older than me and my eldest brother is 8 years older than me. I am by far closest to one of the twins who is 5 years older than me so IMO I think it`s crap that kids need to be close in age in order to be `close` as they grow up. My mum said one of her biggest regrets is not getting a lot of one on one time in the younger years. My twins are 16 months, we plan on waiting 5 years before we TTC, if we have anymore.

My first two are 4 years apart and that was great! I loved having the time with him. My next two are 2 years apart and I also love that, so it`s kind of hard to say.

Im like heartert, my first two are 5yrs apart and it was so great when the eldest was at school i was able to spent the whole day alone with #2. They were 17 and 12 when i had #3 its so amazing watching them play with their little sister and a joy to watch them learn her things like give me 5! They get sooo much out of her and so does she. They are now 18, 13 and 13mths and i would love to ttc next yr DH not having any of it though =(

Well i have HUGH baby fever when i had my daughter, i was weird cuz i had out of anyone ive known the worst pregnancy and delivery ever! and i had to sleep w/my legs crossed for a while lol, cuz i could see myself just getting pregnant almost instantly after.....i think your judgement is cloudy for the 1st year at least wait til the 1 year mark so you know and have experienced little more they change and you never know what kind of attention or things you have have to attend to for your 1st kid it might be overwhelming and you would never want to purposly have one and wish later on that you had them lil further apart so try to find your happy medium...

I wont even think about another till my first is walking, out of diapers, and talking to where you can understand her & know what her needs are. I think for me & my husband & our life style they need a couple years apart. Plus we want to enjoy her while she is young and focus on watching her grow :)

I am excited to have my kids close together (I got pregnant when my son was 4mo old, they`ll be 13months apart at the most) and I can tell you for sure pregnancy has been so TRYING... it has been MISERABLE for me to get up with a teething pre-toddler and all that jazz, since he can`t walk I`m carrying around 40lbs of other people right now, stairs are awful, my hip hurts, heartburn is killer with a kid crawling on top of and inside my tummy.... BUT I really am super excited to having the diapers all together, the kids being close in age, we are military so they will always have someone that understands what they are going through.... but thats just my thoughts

my first and second are 5 years apart and it was great she was so into it. Then they were 15 and 10 when I had #3. Tomorrow I am having #4 and they are 17,11, and 16 months. Having them far apart has been great too. It is so great to watch my older kids enjoy there baby sister. Now 16 months apart I am sure will have wonderful and hard things about it. What ever you decide to do will be what is good for you. I will say for me being pregnant with a baby can be tough at times!

My 2nd was born when my first was 4.5 and I`d not have it any other way!!! It was GREAT!! I LOVE the spread and the common complaints I hear form moms who have them close together were never a concern for us :) It is much eaiser when the 1st is going to school to have the 2nd. The earliest I would have ever consider was 3.5 years apart.
