nmck (14.9 days ago) I recited nursery rhymes to my son over and over at that age. I used a lot of inflection in my voice. I was always able to calm him down when upset by saying the rhymes. In fact, he still stops and listens when I say one. He really loved them!
gr8scottswife (15.4 days ago) Baby Play and Learn by Penny Warner has exceptional ideas. I check the book out at my library.
nuggetlovin (15.4 days ago) I always liked singing songs and being really animated and my daughter liked it alot too...it held her attention the longest.
mumbo (15.4 days ago) My library has a weekly reading group and there`s a lot of young babies that attend that, either attend something similar if you have access to it, or just buy/borrow a nursery rhyme cd or book and sing them to him - my son loves the interactive ones like heads/shoulders/knees/toes, if you`re happy and you know it, the wheels on the bus etc. He likes doing the motions (or me doing the motions with his arms/legs etc)
xela (15.5 days ago) do you have a floor mat/gym for him- with dangling toys, sound, light?
weeblette (15.5 days ago) Sing to him, read to him, dance with him.....
