My son will be 10 weeks tomorrow. What are some suggestions for playtime? I do a lot of face-time with him, show him faces in photographs, let him touch different tactile surfaces (soft, hard, cloth, fur, satin, corduroy, etc.). What are some other ways I can play with/stimulate my baby?

I recited nursery rhymes to my son over and over at that age. I used a lot of inflection in my voice. I was always able to calm him down when upset by saying the rhymes. In fact, he still stops and listens when I say one. He really loved them!

- My friend has just started taking fertility tablets which the DR said could increase her chances of having twins by 10%. Did this work for any of you and did you have twins?
- OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!

- ANGRY!!!! My jenakers account is missing my ENTIRE journal from my high risk pregnancy and my letthisonestick account for my 7 month old is completely gone along with my journal. I AM SICK OVER IT!
- I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.
- How long did it take you to get pregnant after you got your IUD (Mirena) out?
- Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
