My son loved them and so did my nephew but we didnt buy them to make our babies smarter ~ that is stupid, lol. but to buy them for their enjoyment is fine. They lovd them at about 12 months of age :) People shouldnt be buying videos or programs like the I can read stuff to make their babies smarter faster and younger ~ let them grow and learn at the pace that is intended naturally.

my little boys love watching them and im happy that its not some cartoon program but something at least interesting and boosts there knowledge.after a certain point they dont like playing with there toys so to watch a little bit is good for them,some mums let there kdis watch proper TV-baby winstein is good,they have new one-worldsworth,neighnorhood animals,shapes and colours and lots more......

My son never used any of this stuff and he`s 5 and reads at a 3rd grade level. I don`t think a DVD or CD is going to make your child a little `Einstein`

I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Of course DVD isn`t going to make your child smarter. What did people expect. My daughter has them and enjoys them as they are stimulating for her but that is it.

There is no `controversy`. The offer they have up to turn in your DVD for cash has ALWAYS been around. Some baby rights group has been on their ass about how they think baby einstein makes babies less smart so to prove a point the company reminded everyone that they could turn in their DVDs if they wern`t happy with them.
