Khloes Mommy (827.6 days ago) Thanks everyone! At home is not really an option but you all gave some great ideas! And gave me a good start!
3blessings (828.1 days ago) My DH`s family lives 1 1/2 hours away and they drive out to our house for Mack`s 1st birthday. But if that`s not something you want to do, maybe they have a chuck-e-cheese or a Bounce U around there. It`s not really logical for a 1 year old`s birthday party, but hey it`s some place!
RobinG (828.2 days ago) We lived 3 hours from our family ~ we still held it at our home and they always did day trips and traveled to us for the party. 1.5 hours isnt that far IMO for them to travel to your home for the party :) I`d hold it at home :)
ivysmomma (828.5 days ago) i rented out the basement of my towns librarys, it was only 50 dollars for a really big room
yorkc39 (828.6 days ago) I just had my LO`s first Bday party today actually :). A first birthday is best spent at someone`s house, so you could ask a family member if they would hold it at their house, and all they need to do is help clean up before the party. I stayed 2 nights before at my parents house because we also lived an hour away from everyone, so I asked to have it at their house, so my parents were happy to host, I planned the food and such, and helped clean up afterward. Renting a place at such a young age i would think be too much (especially with the flu going around!)
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (828.6 days ago) How about a local resturant, that has a banquet room? I have a hall (township grange) rented for Alex`s 1st.
Khloes Mommy (828.6 days ago) P.S. Her birthday is in Jan.
