Ewww I hate to see a child in the cart without a cover! Before they came out I used blankes with my older children! I`ve seen babies put their little mouths on the nasty handles and the seat belt things, I cringe everytime! shew!!

I either use our cover or spray the cart down with lysol.

Our grocery store has a tub of lysol wipes by the carts, so I just wipe the seat and handle down before I put her in the cart.

No, but I always sanitize it first with wipes they provide or with sanitizing spray and a cloth of my own.

I bring my own sanitizing wipes with me (lysol) and clean everything my kids could touch in the cart before putting them in it.

at our grocery store they have sanitizing wipes and we always wipe off the seat n cart handle. it still freaks me out wondering how many ppl touch that or whats on it.

LOL. Last night we were at the grocery store and usually my hubby carries him while I push the cart. Hubby couldn`t be bothered to push LOs stroller `rolls eyes`. Then all of a sudden he decided to place him in the cart, who btw was thrilled beyond words. But I was so paranoid of all the germs crawling in there. As soon as we got back to the car I purelled his hands like crazy. I always do mine after shopping.

Haha I am a manager at a grocery store & I have seen what happens to those carts & how often they are cleaned (& how they are cleaned), that being said, my dd is ALWAYS in a cart cover! And it's washed after EVERY use!
