Thank you everyone for your views. Im going to ask at my next appointment if they allow it at the hospital. I kind of konked out last time and went in and out of consiousness so i dont really remember much besides actually pushing her out. I has pre esclampsia so i would love to this time just for the memmory of it. I dont plan on doing it full va jay-jay shots but head end, so you can see the baby lifted up onto me, my mum will probably film it all as i want to get my partners reaction too. He was crying last time, but its something youve got on tape. I plan to have a water birth too so there wont be too much on show lol.

my DH turned the camera on immediately after my son was born. I`m not a big fan of the va jay-jay shots. lol

I had my hubby tape my fifth birth.. and SOOOOO glad we did! It was AMAZING to watch.. and not as gross as you think it would be. I know I personally thought.. ewwwww.. that is going to be sooooo gross and icky.. but it was rather clean.. and not at all what I thought. I am so gald to have his first moments on film. and also.. the raw emotion my husband showed.. and the look on our faces.. you dont` really remember that part. It is good to have on film! I recommend it.

I videotaped my daughter being born (well I didint but my MIL did) it was verrrry candid! Ive watched it a few times since I had her.....Im happy to have videotaped it, it was such a special moment in my life Im happy to have it on tape. Not to mention the fact that I get a good laugh out of it. I can be heard saying `I think Im going to poop` `feels like Im going to poop` `I dont wanna poop` and `Im sorry if I poop` mind you I didint poop! My close girlfriends asked me if they could watch the video so soon enough were gonna have a private viewing :P

I have a video of the both my girls being born. We set it up at the head of the bed, this way you couldn`t see anything down below. We got them coming out and everything. It`s so neat to go back and watch it :o)

I wanted to video tape the birth, but from the side view so my lady area wasn`t showing. We set up the camera, but when it was time to push they had me side down the bed so on the tape you can see the actual birth, it wasn`t close up so you still can`t see my lady area, but it`s still something I`m not showing people. It was mainly for me to watch. In the end I'm so glad I did video tape it because I was able to watch it and see our reactions.
