california-mom (827.7 days ago) My mom, and my 2 aunts, their 1st 2 kids name all have the same letters. My moms 1st 2 are Rick and Rachel, my 1 aunts first 2 are Victor and Vincent and my other aunts are Jamie and Jason. No planning, just happened lol
krystasappleseed (827.7 days ago) well we are having our 2nd child and with both pregnancies most of the names that my husband and I liked happen to start with a k. not sure why this is but we dont intentonally try to come up with only k names. our 1st daughter just happened to have the initals kj and my name is krysta and my husband is josh. we didnt do this intentonally either funnily enough. we have not named our 2nd girl yet and so we will have to see what we decide once she is here. I th8ink some people just end up liking names with certain sounds or letters. ( although i have to say that the one and only name we liked for a boy did not start with either a k or a j.. it started with p. but on a side note my mother is one of 5 children and they all have vastly different names and my grandmother still would confuse their names so it doesnt matter whether all the names are close or not.
nutnut (827.9 days ago) i like J names. My daughter`s name is Jordyn. The only reason im not giving this baby a J name is bc Im naming him after my brother who passed away unexpectedly. Otherwise the baby`s name would start with a J. But to keep my tradition somewhat, He will have a J middle name instead. I guess it doesnt really matter, it just I like names that start with J. Jordyn, Jayden, Jacob, Jax, Jaxon, Joey, Justin, etc etc etc. i pretty much love them all. I dont think Id be like the duggars though and have all those J names =P
chevychic96 (828 days ago) I think it`s cute when people use the same letters. My sons names are William and Bradley....so they go by Bill & Brad and I love how it sounds!
kiara (828.3 days ago) Both of our kid`s initials spell `GGG`. This was done intentionally because of an inside joke in my husband`s family. I was fine with it because I love both of the names. If our 2nd had been a girl we would have had to pick a different letter name, because we couldn`t agree on another girls name that started with G. But we had a boy, so now if we have anymore kids I guess we`re stuck with keeping it up!
kohlsmommy (828.3 days ago) my husband`s family doesn`t do the same first initial for every child, but it`s a tradition that the firstborn child`s name starts with a `k`. we didn`t mean to carry on the tradition, but we ended up doing it accidentally lol
CAROLINABABY1 (828.3 days ago) Me, my older brother and sister first names begin with T and middle name begins with A. My last name is different from theirs but when I get married (this month btw) all of our initials will spell T.A.G. My dad ended up stopping that tradition with my younger sister though.
nmck (828.4 days ago) I HATE that same letter thing, just my personal opinion.
luvbeingamom (828.5 days ago) I did but more by accident. I really liked both the names and didn`t fall in love with any others. So we have 2 J names!
sept1baby (828.5 days ago) My moms name is Kay, my name is Kayla, and my son`s name is Kayden! I am hoping my next child is a girl so I can name her Kaytlyn.
Str8 As (828.5 days ago) Yep, all of my children`s first names start with an A. Can`t really tell you why. We just liked the names we chose for the first two and didn`t want the others to feel left out I guess (like those too). Nuggetlovin, I do what your mom did...lol! That`s why when I fuss I use whole names or middle :-)
adkinsrus07 (828.5 days ago) I do not care one way or the other but our last name starts with an A and I think AA names sound good together. We didnt plan it - just kind of happened that way. Our almost 2 year old son is Asa Harrison Adkins and our daughter due this month will be Adalyn Isaballa Adkins.
