2 c-sections,one emergency, 1 scheduled. Both were nothing really as far as healing and stuff. Scheduled was way better of course

i had a c-section with my first as he was breech, and then a scheduled c-section with my second. turned out to be a good plan though as my dr told me after opening me up she could see my uterus was very thin from where i had my first csection and would have most likely torn had i tried a VBAC.

I`ve had two c-section, will have my 3rd and final sometime in March. My 1st one was consider an emergency c-section, they did a vertical (up and down) cut. The doc took the baby early because my blood pressure was getting uncontrollable. So when I got pregnant for the 2nd time, there was no other choice but to have another c-section. Once cut up and down, you have to stick with that. I`ve heard a lot of women that have the other cut (low side to side cut) that were able to have a VBAC. Most doc will give you an option to try the VBAC with c-section as back up choice.
