marli (826.5 days ago) I was a size 6 before I had my second son and gained 20 lbs. He was 9 lbs even. I pushed for 3 hours and had a 3rd degree tear. I`m totally with you though! I`m so afraid that my third is gonna be even more of a beast :) EditDelete
lovemyfamily (826.5 days ago) I was a size 24 waist (a size 1 or 0) before getting pregnant with my daughter. I gained 40lbs through my pregnancy and reached 150lbs. My daughter was 10lbs 4oz. I had a 4th degree tear and 2 hours of surgery afterwards to heal the tear. I felt empowered afterwards!! I`m terrified this one will be 12lbs plus though lol EditDelete
nutnut (826.5 days ago) you mean while in the womb? like right before birth? i would consider a baby too big, when it falls above a safe ratio of size vs mom`s pelvis. so for a bigger framed woman giving birth to a 9 or 10lb baby might not be a problem. i dont like to look at numbers. classification of `big` is complicated. Too big would depend on the mom. for me, if i were to give birth to a baby over 9 lbs chances are it would get stuck. i have a small frame. but over 12lbs, i would say thats a pretty good sized baby there and i would be praying my doc gave me a c section =))) EditDelete
