I`ve never seen bananas this cheap before - $0.39 a pound at walmart in South Carolina. But everything else seems through the roof....weird!!

Strawberries are always expensive where I live in PA...but I have been buying a lot of pears and apples as they are regularly on sale at this time of year. Pears are about $1.50 a pound, and apples anywhere from $1-$3 a pound depending on what kind.

$10 for bananas??? seriously? Umm I think I paid like .49 cents a pound for bananas yesterday.

A lot of bundles of vegatables are buy one get one free by me. Not sure about fruit though, all we usually buy is strawberries and I don`t remember how much they are.

we grow all our own veges now, its the way to go!! we have got every thing you can think of in our garden, way cheaper!
