No, I had c-sections. (hubby was the only one) However my mother isn`t very good when it comes to blood and other liquids so I wouldn`t ask her anyway. :o)

I personally dont believe in anyone but that partner/DH/SO being there so it was always just hubby and I :)

no i would hate it my mum is way too interfering and controlling and i doubt she would respect my decisions so she would be the last person i would want there, infact i would only ever want my partner there as he did half the job at creating the little life so its not really down to anyone else to be there the moment we meet our little creation for the first time

My mom was in the room with me. It was never a question of `if`. I knew I`d want her in there and that she`d wanna be in there. I was 14 when my little brother was born and I was in the room. I saw him as he was born and it was amazing. I cried haha. My mom was great to have in there. She held one leg and my husband held the other. She was so encouraging and helped me push through the contractions. And she kept putting cold compresses on my neck when I was in labor and my husband gave me ice chips haha. If it wasn`t for their help and cheering me on, I don`t think my delivery would have been as easy as it was. I had a 3 hour labor and pushed for 20 minutes with no meds.

no. reason being she doesnt like blood, or hospitals and she would probably pass out.LOL! plus, im not too comfortable with alot of people around me when im stressed, emotional, or anxious.

ive never been through this before so i invited her and dh only, but maybe it worked out for the best she says she cant be there she couldnt imagine seeing her daughter in that much pain and not able to do anything about it :) gotta love moms

My mom was there but she stood in the doorway and didn`t say anything and my DH was up by my head helping me push...so it was almost like she wasn`t there (from my perspective), but I know it made her really happy :)
