SALT!!!!!!! I sister in NJ got a salt water pool and it is amazing!!! You feel SO much better after and it is very healthy for your skin and many of her neighbors who had chlorine have switched. I think those that love chlorine have not expeirenced a salt water pool. In my town I dont know anyone with a salt pool so it is more from not knowing and inexperience that makes it a preference. My BIL went to my sisters and was in pool for an hour before he knew it was salt. The initial investment for salt is high but the long time investment is much cheaper my sis learned so def better to go salt.

Hi there! Here were we live we have lots of pools. Almost every family I know have a pool at home. Most of us have Chlorinated pools only because the unit for the salt water is more expensive to purchase. But if we could coose it would definately be the salt water. Maintenance is very low and much cheaper. The water is hygenicly cleaner and much softer on your skin and eyes than chlorine. Alge, rain and lightning will not make your water as messy as it can with chlorinated water. Hope you have a great day.

I can NOT believe people actually prefer the chlorinated water! It`s so gross!
