mdbabyno1 (820.3 days ago) My 16 month old only does her head and ears but does MY nose, mouth, and eyes
monica9 (820.5 days ago) I would just teach one specific body part until he masters it. say ` show me your eyes` or `where are your eyes`. if he doesnt point to them, do hand over hand and say good job when his hand goes to his eyes. keep repeating it. It will come.
my hands r full (820.5 days ago) my 13 month old will grab our nose when we ask him where his nose is and sometimes when we ask where is your nose he will point to his ear lol.. we also ask about where his ears are so i guess he can sometimes get confused lol but hes learning =)
amandad74 (820.6 days ago) My son is 14 months and I know he knows what his body parts are called but he won`t point to them if we ask him to. If I ask him `wheres your nose` he`ll touch my nose and say `beep beep` but that is as close as we get lol! He also refuses to repeat words, even if we ask the ones that he says regularly. It`s probably more a personality thing, than being unable to do it, I suppose.
t555rm (820.6 days ago) My son never points to his nose either n that was one of the first body parts I tried to teach him. But he points to his tummy and head and ears. That`s all he knows for now. Just keep showing her and she`ll surprise u one day when u ask her to point. Children learn so fast!
debsandgrace (820.6 days ago) The heads shoulders song is great for learning them the body parts. My DD is 14mths, learnt where her head and ears are through the song. Learnt her nose and eyes as she keeps pointing at mine when i hold her. DH learnt her her tummy by rubbing it and saying mmmm when she trys something new.
RobinG (820.6 days ago) Sing the song Head shoulders knees and toes... Hunter loves it and it helped him alot. She still young yet so she should be fine :)
Dannie (820.6 days ago) Just keep playing the game- eventually she will love to point to body parts- also, try reading her books that point out the parts as well-
