brandyv (818.1 days ago) I didn`t vote on your poll as I`m not sure what to choose. I don`t want a repeat c-section, but my doctor won`t allow me to have a vbac. My first was a vbac, second emergency c-section and now the doc is planning a repeat c-section. I`m aware of the risks and would still like another vbac. I felt them take my son out with my last c-sect and it hurt. I couldn`t breath because of all the pressure and I paniced then they knocked me out. It was horrible. I`m going to talk to my doc again to see if there is any way she would reconsider. The only reason I had to get an emergency c-section with my son was because his heart rate dropped during labor.
MaryJanowiecki (819.5 days ago) I took the quiz and it said 79% for me but I don`t like that it doesn`t ask how big the first baby was. My son was huge that`s why I had a C-section so that quiz is wrong l0l
Lou-Li-Ro (819.6 days ago) /My aunt-in-law had a c-section for her first baby, then went on to have two VBACs. When I asked her about (regarding my future after having had a c-section myself) She told me they say to wait a clear year before getting preg again after a c-section, and then all should be normal and fine! good luck x
dee212 (819.6 days ago) I had a section with my first(though I had wanted a natural delivery I developed preeclampsia) and seriously thking of a second when I do get pregnant again. I dont want to take the chance of going thru labour and then being rushed for another emergency one.
Str8 As (819.6 days ago) I did not prefer a repeat c-section, it was preferred for me :-(
If I would have followed my gut, I could have had a successful vbac! After having one vaginal birth, I would`ve liked to have another one versus another c-section....

Here is a VBAC sucess calculator I used.
MILITARY~MOMMY (819.7 days ago) At my 10 week appt the midwife tried to encourage me to have a VBAC. I informed her that I had already researched my chances for a sucessful VBAC and was not interested. She pushed and pushed and scheduled me to speak with a doctor about the benefits even though I told her no. She seemed to feel that as a woman I need to experience vaginal birth, but there is only a 49-54% chance it would be a sucess for me and I feel no burning desire to undergo labor again. Just wondering how other women feel...
