I`m surprised some people aren`t opening the gifs during the party, I was at a wedding shower were the gifts weren`t opened and we received a thankyou note later, I didn`t like that too much...Personally I enjoy watching the person open my gift, I think that`s a big part of it :) I`m not sure what we`ll do, but I`m leaning towards gifts first and then cake.

I don`t plan on having her open gifts at her party. I just think there will be too much going on & she will not be interested or sit through it. So we will open at home & send thank you notes.

we did cake last. my daughter really wasnt too interested in her presents anyway so i ended up letting my little cousins help open them for her. we had cake last. its always been that way with my family they do games, gifts, cake, goody bags, home.

I did cake, bath, the presents cause it was getting late and close to his bedtime anyway.. I ended up puttin him down to bed and the party continued for 2 hours afterwards.. adults only. hahaha

We didn`t open present at my LO party. They was no way she would sit still to get through them all. So we did the cake smash and handed out cake and that was the end of the party
