nmck (818.2 days ago) No choice for had a successful induction... my three sisters had 5 inductions between them. All successful. EditDelete
RobinG (818.3 days ago) Awww ~ so how big was she? The reason I ask is if she was big or had a big head it may not have been a failed induction but rather a baby to big to engage to drop. My son was called a floater. His head was to big to drop and engage and I never would have been able to deliver. If she never really dropped I wonder if your baby was a floater too. That wouldnt be a failed induction but rather a baby to big to drop and never able to go vaginally. I too was over due from it ~ 10 days. EditDelete
ivysmomma (818.4 days ago) i had a successful induction. My labor lasted 6 and a half hours, 2 and a half of that was pushing. I hope whenever i have another baby my next labor is that easy! EditDelete
angie2008 (818.4 days ago) i was induced with my dd. we did cervidal and then pitocin for 2 days and i only got to 4 cm. i cried for a c-section as i couldn`t take it anymore, they cut the pitocin off and i quickly dilated to 10 cm to push my baby out. EditDelete
jekajoy (818.4 days ago) I was induced and was 0 dilated and 0 thinned. I progressed at 1 cm per 4 hrs. I had pitocin cytotec (sp?) and my water broken and I just wouldn`t progress. After 16 hrs, 4 cm dilated, and 85% thin they decided failure to progress and took me for csection. I won`t be induced this time. EditDelete
luvbeingamom (818.4 days ago) I had 2 successful inductions. The first one was close though, 28 hours of labor and the cord around his neck. EditDelete
RobinG (818.4 days ago) So what were the specifics of your failed induction? EditDelete
soon2be3 (818.4 days ago) I went into labor on my own with my first and then I had two successful inductions. EditDelete
heathert (818.4 days ago) all 4 successful besides missing the epi twice. EditDelete
SPUDinTHEoven (Tina) (818.4 days ago) I had a successful induction, but my labor lasted 22 hours including 2 hours of pushing, and I got an infection in my uterus afterward (endometritis) caused by the long labor after my water being broken. Would all this have happened if it were natural? I will never know. EditDelete
