Berrymama (813.7 days ago) Thank you all for your comments. This is very helpful. Happy Babies and Baby Dust to you all.
rayray (816.2 days ago) They usually make decorations for baby showers in pink, blue, or yellow so it`s pretty easy to decorate for. You can go with a rubber duck or winnie the pooh theme or something along those lines for decorating with the yellow or decorate with stuffed animals and you can give those out as prizes for games or whatever. For presents, they make a lot of clothes in neutral colors that would go well on boys or girls. They also sell gift sets and baskets that have a variety of things in them like bath and lotion sets, diapering sets, and grooming sets that are great for the mom-to-be. You could also have a diaper party where you ask everyone to bring diapers, and those that do are entered in a raffle or drawing to win a grand prize like a spa day or a mani-pedi or something like that and have diaper decor where the decorations are made of diapers, like a diaper `cake,` and have games that involve diapers, ie: diaper changing race, blindfolded diapering, guess the dirty diaper, etc.
skittles0607 (817.8 days ago) With my my first child we didnt find out that it was a boy so we did a neatural theme. We picked Whinnie the Pooh.. You can also do sea life, baby looney toons, ducks.. For colors we had light green, yellow, and white...
Brans1stBaby (817.8 days ago) Do all neutral colors or colors that aren`t gender specific! Yellows browns greens things like that! An I agree with raycheldavey make sure everyone knows that you don`t know what the sex is and include gift receipts just in case!
nmck (817.9 days ago) I think this is common. Decorate with all colors, blue, pink, yellow, green, purple, light orange... Also, as for present ideas, I have a new present I will give to all of my friends regardless of gender now. I am going to give the Exergen forehead thermometer along with a small basket of other medicines they may need...tylenol, mylicon, teething tablets, etc.
raycheldavey (818 days ago) just write in your invites that you dont know the sex so make sure they include gift reciepts. do diaper raffles and games- types of things that dont need to know the gender for. yellows, greens, oranges are all colors that both sexes can wear.
