if the trash can is town or city property thats one thing but it is quite stupid if they violate you for your own property :S

WOW!! I can`t believe your neighbor is so nasty! I woud so fight it. I mean your garbage pails are your own property and you should be able to do as you wish with them. I would also make a comment to your neighbor or I would rat her out for something like having a ugly tree. I mean art is art and who is she to judge it? I am sure some people think picasso was ugly art and yet look at the price of his work!

I would check with the city. If it`s ok to do this then I would fight. (Show him that you stand behind him 100%) If you can`t then I would do the right thing and fix it. (Showing him that rules are rules, no matter what you feel is right.)

No, no HOA around here. They are only visible the 2 mornings i put the pails to the street. She is just an uppity bit** who makes her husband run outside every time a leaf falls on their grass. She made a comment to me when she saw him writing it. It doesnt look `ghetto`. Its just our house # and a squiggle!!

HOA= Homeowners association. Rules and regs for living in a particular neighborhood. Like gated communites and such. You can`t paint your house or doors certain colors..etc. etc...

Graffiti is art in many ways. So dumb I think. My brother has been into graffiti his whole life. He got a scholarship to study art in Spain. he knows paints graffitti murals all over spain and gets paid for it. So dumb that some people think this is a violation. In other countries, it`s art. I`d fight it. As long as he`s not damaging other`s properties without consent, lol..FIGHT it

Whats a HOA?? I live on a busy street in a jersey suburb. They are my pails. I have no pic, but it literaly says `461` (our house #) with a squiggle detail on 2 sides in red n yellow.

Also were the pails owned by the town or yours that you purchased? That may make a difference ~

Do you live in an HOA? If you do look in all the paper work to see if it is clarified in there that it is not allowed. If not fight it ~ got a photo of it to share?
