with my first, i had slight tears on the inside and she was born with her hand next to hear head lol dont know how she managed that! she was 8lbs 14oz. second time around and no tearing, she was tiny, 6lbs 15oz. i hope this one is straightforward and no tears lol

i only had 2 stiches with my first had vaccum,was stuck at my tail bone after hours of pushing,it was a tough birth,my second one was 3 kilo 600 and i tore really badly,i guess he was big for me but they do have an option to do a cut and they took the risk,i remember hearing a rip,at least i had the epidural so i didnt feel the pain but i still think i would have torn less had they does a little cut-i told them the baby was big and they thought it would be just 3 kilo`s.sometimes its worse so i think if they dont do a cut a just let you tear because you can tear badly further up around other muscles...hope this time will be better for me.i had pain for 3 weeks after each time i went to the bathroom,its horrible.what we woman have to endure.....

I tore with my first (7lbs4oz), pretty bad, had to get all stitched up. But I never tore with my second(8lb4oz), third(6lb3oz), or fourth(7lb12oz). My second was even a whole LB bigger than my first, and no tear what so ever. All my births were the same, induced and epidural.

I did with my first medicated birth and not with my second drug free water birth . I think choosing to go drug free and be in control of my birth and the water made the difference!

I did with my first but didn`t with my second. My first birth was also far worse than the second period. I was induced with both, but i wasn`t progressing at all naturally with my first. So it was a LONG labor, the cord was around his neck, and his heart beat was dropping quickly. With my second i had a better doc (private vs the military doc the first time around) and he was able to loosen the muscles and skin so that i didn`t tear or need to be cut.
