I do my big shopping every month or so for meat and other things for about $200-300. Then I go to the store once a week for mile and other things; not sure how much I spend then. We are a family of 5 for now until Friday and then we will be a family of 6!

food doesnt stay fresh if you only shop every two weeks. i have to go weekly, and even then, im popping down to the market to get things in between. i have no idea how people manage only going once a fortnight.
