hotpotaaaaato (815.2 days ago) I had PPD after my second... in the first few weeks I started on meds, and saw a therapist, but gave up on the meds after a week because I was scared of breastfeeding with it.... life continued and I just blamed my feeling down on the hoilidays and then birthday stress etc.... I finally talked to my doc at 8 months postpartum and went on Zoloft... WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It was a huge turn around. I would talk to your doc about it.
linzigenavieve (815.3 days ago) ppd can last up to a year, so definately talk to your doctor about it.
angie2008 (815.4 days ago) i would think that it isn`t ppd because your dd is 9 months. it does sound like it definietley can be regular depression. Def tak to your doc about it, there is things that can help you.
MaddoxAndAverysMama (815.4 days ago) I don`t think its post partum depression.. I think you are probably just depressed, stressed and happen to have had a baby 9 mo ago... I have an 11m old and I am almost 32weeks pregnant... this happens... can`t blame you.. but if you feel like hurting yourself or feel like you aren`t taking care of the baby or other things as well as you think you could/should then talk to your doctor about medication or to talk to a professional.. Make sure you`re getting out on your own regularly for coffee/chat with friends WITHOUT husband and baby, you`d be suprised how medicinal that is...
lovemyfamily (815.4 days ago) Oh hunn it could definitely still be post partum or it could be plain old depression. Fighting with a SO ALWAYS brings us down to our lowest. I would most definitely brin it up to your doctor because there is so much help out there for depression and it is SOO common. Let him/her know exactly how you feel.
feb2009 (815.4 days ago) I ment 9 months post partum.
