I fell into Twilight some what late.. I only saw the movie this past Aug and then picked up all 4 books and read them in less then 3 weeks (and with 2 kids under 2 I think that`s impressive lol). I think now that you have already read the first book watching the movie will be fine.. I saw the movie then read the book and still enjoyed the book and then watched the movie again and again lol. As for `New Moon` I would suggest reading the book before the movie because as great as the movie is (I just saw it this past weekend) reading the book will really help you ti understand what is going on and the reasoning behind some of the story lines ;o)

Read ALL of the books!!! I haven`t read in 5 years because of 3kids, but watched Twilight, then asked my cousin a lot of questions, she said the book explains a lot of it. So then I read the book and watched Twilight again, much better. I just saw New Moon Friday...it was amazing how many people did not read the book (you could tell from their reactions)...they were missing out on so much. The movies are awesome if you understand everything that is going on. And the story is fantastic, you need to read all the books to get the entire story. Get them from the libary or borrow from friends if you don`t want to buy them, that`s what I did...and you will read them quick, so don`t worry about if you will get through them.

Yeah read the books then drag DH to See New Moon like I did ! hahaha the books are way better...and I am team Edward all the way....BUT damn I want a night with Jacob hahaha
