When the time comes I will talk to my daughter about this. It will be apart of `the talk`. Since it is of sexual nature and I believe as her parent I should be teaching her sex ed then yes it will be apart of the convo. I`m hoping and praying we will have a very open and honest relationship and it will not be to awkward for the both of us. Sorry I know you said no comments but I don`t think this is to controversial.

Sorry had to reply :) When I see a child touching them self I say dont do that ~ and I let it go becuase it is no big deal for me. I know it is common and normal and what all kids do and not nasty or sexual in any way but that said I dont have a conversation with them about masturbation etc. I just say dont touch yourself and if you feel the need to do it in private but not add any info from there. I dont think the word `masturbation` is a word I will ever actually use with my kids. My boys are 14, 9 and 2 and I expect my older have probably done it but we dont discuss it. It is what it is but it isnt a subject to actually have a discussion on IMO.
