Mine will be 6 months in a couple weeks and she awakes crying about 8/10 times =P It`s usually because she`s still tired though as she`s a horrible sleeper! Breastfed too!

my 16 month old will cry when he wakes, unless i am right next to him

Do you think he could still be tired? My son was like that too. He never slept well and he`d wake up still tired. So I imagined that`s why he woke up crying. He stopped that when he was like 7-8 months when he started to get a more restful night. At 2 months yr baby could also be waking up hungry, hence the crying.

ummm 1 1/2 babys cry cuz thats one way they communicate yours is still very little my 8 mo still crys when he awakes, he is BF and never sleep a night yet....ahh im tired lol

Does she eat immediatly from waking up? It could be that she just wakes up hungry, or it could just be her personality. Every child is different so it`s hard to say when she could stop.
