I spent about $300 on my 19 month old daughter including her big gifts and her stocking stuffers. Its a little more than I planned on spending but she is our only one right now so we can spoil her. Next year we will have two so it will probably be a little less. :)

I was also hoping to spend under $100 on my 14 mo, but I started shopping a little earlier than usual and its adding up to be a bit more than that lol. Next year I will have 2, so I`ll have to be better.

I did my shopping back in August for William`s 1st birthday and Christmas and spent $1500, We got him lots of big toys and lots of little people sets... I`m done... I am now just collecting little cars every week i buy him a car to go into his stocking...

I spent about $300 total on my two kids (19mo, 3mo). I spent much more on my son who is older, but I figure that his sister will soon want to play with those toys too, so that`s pretty awesome!

My budget is $300 and my husband`s is $300. We`ll get our 15 month old son`s Christmas gifts out of that and my niece and nephews, and each other`s gifts. If we have some leftover, we might get our parents a small gift to share or something. Together, we`ve spent about $100 on our son. He has a mini power wheel type 4 wheeler and a dry erase table set on order. That`s about all he`s getting from us. We`ll put some little stuff in his stocking but thats it.

We have set limit`s for all of our children which is about £100 for our 14mth old DD. Our eldest are 18yrs and 13yrs so much more on them around £300-£350. Haven`t really started buying yet either. Big present for DS (13yrs) was £140 and DD (18yrs) wants GHD`s, really got to get our butts in gear but 14mth old has chicken pox so cannot go out till she has scabed over hopefully wed!

delarla (801.8 days ago)
I only spent $100 on 2 kids. My oldest is 23 months and my youngest is 2 months. I just bought my 2 month old a couple rattles for his stocking, because he wont know whats going on anyways, and my daughter some huge blocks, a ride on toy, and some small things. Their daddy is also deployed so we are saving Xmas for when he comes home.

mdbabyno1 (801.9 days ago)
I have spent about 33-350 on my 17 month old. I am done now.

JMendez (801.9 days ago)
we have like a $200 on each kid limit this year. Not to say we won`t go over or under but that`s our goal anyways. We have a 4 year old and a 6 month old so they`re still pretty easy to shop for and stay in the budget.

bellajenna (801.9 days ago)

brendalee (801.9 days ago)
So far I`ve spent about $100 on my 9 month old, I still have some shopping to do which Im finishing up tomarrow and I have a few things that are coming in the mail.

lovemyfamily (801.9 days ago)
I spent probably a little over 900 on my almost 1 year old. I haven`t bought her new toys in a few months and so she will be getting lots for christmas. We also bought her lots of books and they add up quickly as well as a new toddler bed. It seems like we spent a lot but really prices are just really high on necessities.

RobinG (802 days ago)
My older two are 9 and 14 so we spend about 300-350 on them each. Sadly the games, TV`s, clothes, skateboards etc for them cost alot more. Keep in mind that we rarely shop during the regular times other then Christmas and Birthdays so it is the time they get the things they dream of. Only things we buy rest of year or things they need or things they save up for. Hunter is only 2 so about $75-100 on him this year. Daniel my oldest is getting 3 gifts and it is already 350, scary ~

Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (802 days ago)
I have $160 spent on Alex (12 mo) & $200 spent on Austin (10 yrs) and their both pretty much done besides a few little things. (:

juels101 (802 days ago)
On my 1yr old I don`t plan on spending too much, just a couple new small toys, she isnt gonna know what`s going on anyways haha. But for my 3yr old I`d say $100 including her stocking.

  1. OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!
  2. Is SaraKelly still on here? I know she was a mod but I didn`t see her post in the previous Who Is A Mod poll...
  3. ANGRY!!!! My jenakers account is missing my ENTIRE journal from my high risk pregnancy and my letthisonestick account for my 7 month old is completely gone along with my journal. I AM SICK OVER IT!
  4. I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.
  5. How long did it take you to get pregnant after you got your IUD (Mirena) out?
  6. Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
  7. My daughter is almost 5 months and 3 weeks ago my hair started falling out. I know it`s normal but how long did it last for you?
  8. With all the issues going on with the site maybe we need an updated list on Mods. Obviously Laura is the one to go to but if there is a concern and it needs immediate attention and a Mod is online it may be good to know who is who so you can reach out to them. Mods, can you please post here so we know who you are. (Esp since some profiles names had to be changed because of recent log on issues)
  9. Anyone wanna try http://parentspuzzlepieces.spruz.com/ a free community site I just made? Let me know if you want the password and would want to help add things to it!!
  10. I think with all the posting issues IAP needs to appoint someone to verify all pictures, polls, questions, etc that are posted by new members. Sure, it`ll probably make things slower, but something needs to be done! Many websites have this installed and IAP needs it as well. Members that have been on the site for a certain time can be exempt, but if you are a new member, posts should be monitored. I`m going to copy this suggestoin to Laura and if you agree you should too!! :)
