LKLmama (793.7 days ago) My husband would want her anywhere else!
nmck (794 days ago) I have friends who are divorcing right now, and co-sleeping was one of their main issues. He hated it, she loved it.
smiling politely (794.1 days ago) mine is totally on board with it.
T3POandR2D2 (794.2 days ago) My husband was SOOOO against it. Then, shortly after my son was born I started having gall bladder attacks at night and couldn`t move so he would wake up and bring my son to me to nurse. After a few nights he just stopped putting him back in his crib. My little boy is 13 months and we all love sharing a bed! I agree with shesxchaotic, too. My husband and I rarely had sex before bed so it has never effected that!
busymommyof3 (794.2 days ago) I was totally against it , my dh wanted it. Then again thats how is culture is. He grew up with the `FAMILY BED`. NAy how Once we started, I LOVED IT!! We have had a baby/kid in our bed for over 6 yrs now. heheh. Our baby is 15 months, i just love to be able to look @ him sleeping and hug and kiss him anytime I want. Somenight When We need our time I put him in his crib in our room and he usually will sleep til about 2-3am. when he sleeps with us he sleeps ALL NIGHT!! I just love Co-sleeping. Although I would not recommend it for people who are heavy sleepers!!!!
shesxchaotic (794.3 days ago) I should also add, alot of people (men especially) think co-sleeping will affect your sex life. Maybe it`s just us but we`ve never been people that have sex at bedtime and then just go to sleep. So now with having our son, when he falls asleep in the swing or takes a nap we have time together and the two never interfere and we`re able to have sex a few times a week
RobinG (794.3 days ago) My DH was the biggest culprit, lol. Totally on board with it ~ BUT safely only. Babies were in close and secure beds that fit between our pillows.
military~mommy (794.3 days ago) EandT~ I think most men might not be fans of the `idea` of co-sleeping, but when sleepless nights kick in and the reality is you can get better sleep co-sleeping... Well it has worked great for us! We also kept a pack`n`play next to our bed, as she got older we would start her in it at the beginning of the night and after her first feeding she would just stay in bed with us. I think that helped with transitioning her to her crib later on.
courtenay (794.3 days ago) well i have been cosleeping for 14 months, but im a single mama, so we dont share our bed with anyone else.
EandTsmum (794.4 days ago) militarymommy that`s too cute! I ask because we never cosleep with our twins unless they are sick/teething and a big reason for that is the fact that there is 2 of them. I asked DH on the weekend if we one day decide to have another baby, will he be ok with cosleeping and he didn`t seem too keen. I didn`t really go too much further in to it with him because it`s not really an issue at the moment.
bellajenna (794.4 days ago) At first not but then he warmed up.
shesxchaotic (794.4 days ago) Our 3 month old has slept with us since day one and we all sleep great! He sleeps for 7+ hours and wakes up smiling so my husband is completely on board!
military~mommy (794.4 days ago) Haha, my DH was partially responsible for our co-sleeping. I unexpectedly had a c-section and when we brought her home I had such trouble getting up to get her to BF. DH was not a fan of waking up and getting her for me and taking her back every hour! So DH found a keyboard box, lined it with her blankets, and set it in the middle of the bed. And of course that evolved to us co-sleeping for the next six months. We loved it, and will do the same with this baby!
