adkarg (793.8 days ago) I agree with most of the previous posters. I don`t buy exercise equipment because it doesn`t work as promised and it ends up collecting dust. I do have a treadmill and I think that it`s wonderful. I also recommend Jillian Michael`s 30 Day Shred DVD.. it`s brutal, but you`ll see results quick!
netters (793.9 days ago) I compete at near elite levels in running and from my experience, lunges and squats for thighs and butt and an exercise ball for abs are best combined with cardio (walking or jogging). And you won`t waste your money on some silly exercise equipment you don`t end up using anyways.
nmck (794 days ago) What about an exercise ball? They can be quite cheap ($5 at Five Below) and you can do all kinds of exercises on there.
Lou-Li-Ro (794 days ago) I was going to say the exact same thing as mumbino! I find fast walking to be absolutely wonderful for muscle tone and for feeling GREAT!!! I bring my twins out in their buggy (at their naptime so that they`ll fall asleep and don`t mind being in the buggy for too long) and bring them for 4-mile walk when I feel up to it/have time. It is a hilly walk and there`s a beach part to go along too, and when I come back I feel toned and amazing from all the lovely fresh air and exercise. As I got more and more used to doing it, I started jogging with the buggy too, on and off throughout the walk, it works wonders. (I only jog the downhill and flat parts haha! Cuz the hills are Steeep!) I also use a cheap ab-roller sometimes to do tummy-muscle-toning exercises. Good luck!
LKDream (794.1 days ago) I would opt for a tredmill (Cardio) and a gym ball (toning). You get real nice DVD`s you can train with.
domsmom2009 (794.3 days ago) check on google and youtube... sometimes they show basic workouts that you wouldn`t think of and work great! :D good luck
