My neice just turned 6 in october and her eyes went from blue to hazel around 4 years old. THe later they change the lighter they will be, like they probably won`t go brown this late but possibly green or hazel. What color are your eyes and dh`s eyes?

My hubby was opposite. His eyes were green-blue and turned to a bright blue when he was 2.

i dont think anyone in my dhs family have green eyes..all blue... mom, dad, brothers... no one really in my family either... except my dad who has hazel...hmmmmmm

my dughters eyes didnt turn green until she was 5! One day she looked up at me and i was like holy crap those are sooo green!

Honeyinmytummy - Although blue is dominant, if Daddy has a recessive gene for green then it could still take. My hubby has brown eyes (an obvious dominant gene to my blue), yet both of my girls have crazy blue eyes :)

It`s funny you asked this because my pediatrician was just telling us the last time that we were there that she sees babies` eyes go to green is late as 2 years.
