california-mom (782.4 days ago) This year we had a baby (3rd) and bought a house that were upgrading and remodeling so presents were small. Not a big difference than any other year tho-We focus more on the point of the holiday. Plus saving moneys always good lol
jeniwalker (782.4 days ago) My husband and I are both unemployed this year, so we dont really have the money for gifts. I felt bad because we didnt get gifts for our 2 kids either. The bright side is our son is only 23 months and daughter is 6 months, so they will never know. They did get toys and clothes from family, so I don`t feel too bad.
LKLmama (782.7 days ago) We normally do but not this year. We are moving in ehhh 3 weeks and dont want to have more stuff that we will have to move and we wanted to save money for the move and things we will need once we are in our new home.
Stay@HomeZOOKeepa (782.8 days ago) We don`t either...we got our Christmas present the BFP, and that`s all we wanted :)
RobinG (782.8 days ago) We spend about $30 each on each other and buy a single gift ~ when the kids were born we stopped buying for each other. We`d rather the money be spent on them :) We give the gift for each other as a gift from the kids ~
LizzyB. (782.8 days ago) We don`t exchange Christmas gifts with each other anymore, since it saves money and time, and we usually buy what we want ourselves or we randomly buy each other things throughout the year....I know it doesn`t sound very romantic or thoughtful, but it works for us....We decided to just give each other gifts on our bdays and mother`s day/father`s day...During our anniversary we go out to eat...We don`t exchange for Valentine`s day either.
