Called my doc this morning and was told that it was indeed part if not all of my mucus plug. She said that it doesnt have to have blood or anyhting in it unless it ruptured my membranes in the process. So I was told no tto worry and that if I start getting major pains that dont go away or the obvious bleeding or water breaking I should be okay. She said most people go into labor between now and 2 weeks from losing it :D

sounds like part of your plug, but not your bloody show. Some people lose it all at once, and others are bits and pieces. I started losing bits and pieces from 30 weeks! Evidently it DOES regenerate itself over time, so you could be losing pieces for a long time. I went into labor 4 days OVERDUE! But, only while I was in labor did I have my bloody show. Having a bloody show is more a sign of labor to come than losing mucus plug. Good luck!

Sounds like your starting to loose some of your plug. As you get closer and baby moves down more, you will notice some blood tinged or may have spotting before the on set of labor. Theres no need to go to the doctor, or start packing just yet. It can still be weeks-days away. Losing your MP is not a good indicator of labor. When you notice the little amount of blood you will then be closer. Good luck!

sounds like ur mucus plug... but that can come out weeks before anything happenes. I wouldn`t worry till theres water coming down your leg :)

I was just in the bathroom and when I went to wipe off instead of just the normal wipe and go I got clearish (sry tmi) what looked like boogers. I even touched it and it was really thick and I had to wipe 3 times just to get it all. There was no blood but umm this isnt normal :S Could this of been my mucus plug? If so should I go to the doc tomorrow?
