My son use to do this in the car when he was bored- I just ignored it and he eventually stopped

My sister who is now a teen used to do this. She was adopted as a toddler, and had many emotional problems. Her psychiatrist advised my parents to make the puking very unpleasant for her. One time my mom caught it in a mixing bowl and made her sit in the corner with the bowl for quite a while `in case she felt sick again`. Since she also had some on her clothes, she hated it. Never did it again.

My daughter used to do this when she was a year old... it was always at bedtime.. well i would get her up, get her in the tub and change her bedding and snuggle with her... after this went on for a bit longer i took her into the DR. Turned out it was just for attention... so at night when it was bedtime if she would do it i would simply give her a bath and change her crib sheets then put her back to bed...she stopped doing it when she discovered it got no reaction... good luck..
