Dannie (770.2 days ago) I change my little guy on all sorts of surfaces- as long as it is durable and will hold him, I don`t see what the big deal is- I of course use a changing pad under him and make sure it is safe- it`s not like his poop or pee is coming in contact with the surface.
mrsjmickens1 (770.2 days ago) how is it any less gross to change a baby on ur bed that you sleep in then on a counter that ur food goes on? the only reason i was thinkin was the bed is softer. my parents used to change me on a pool table n i dont see anything wrong with that either
hunnybunnysmama (770.3 days ago) Like lilyb - when my daughter was a newborn I would change her on the counter next to the sink for bathtime. I`d lay her on a folded towel never taking my hands off of her. It was easier for me too - also had a c-section.
nutnut (770.5 days ago) ive used the kitchen table we have thick changing pads that go under the baby. my whole family has used my grandmothers dining room table since before i was born and there after. I dont see the issue. the countertops never just bc theyre small and theres things the baby could grab at. its really not nearly as gross as counting out change or money on the table. do you know how many nasty places money has been?? we wipe the table off with disinfectant wipes after but nothing gets on the table. its not a big deal to me if someone used my kitchen table to change their kid.
Holly28 (770.5 days ago) I change my daughter on the floor.
JMendez (770.5 days ago) I never have, but not because I think it`s gross...but because I don`t find it very safe. I wouldn`t want someone else changing their kid`s diapers on my table, now that is gross! If i`m at someone else`s house I usually take my baby into the bathroom to change their diaper =)
