KylaRaquel (764.9 days ago) You could try the Depo shot, but they say only to be on that for a couple years or so because it starts to leech calcium or something from your bones??? So that might not work for the entire 4+ years.
SPUDinTHEoven (Tina) (765 days ago) I know someone personally who got pregnant on the nuvaring and have heard of many others who`ve also gotten pregnant while on it, I don`t trust it, and wouldn`t rely on it as my choice in BC
JMendez (765.2 days ago) I have the IUD Paragard, it doesn`t have hormones. I like it. I do spot though sometimes. An IUD isn`t as bad as it seems
Lookalike (765.2 days ago) I would go with something that doesn`t have any horomones in it like a diaphram, condoms, or an IUD that doesn`t have any horomones. I personally prefer the `rhythm method` which has a bad reputations because it takes more effort and planning to be effective. But if you do it right it works. It worked for me for three years.
TattooedMommyOf2 (765.3 days ago) Oh, my dr won`t prescribe the patch anymore bc too many of her patients ended up pregnant. She also won`t do Mirena/iuds because she had a lot of patients with ectopic pregnancies. I`m not sure if you`re aware of this, but iud`s of any kind allow conception, just not implantion. In other wards, you`ll never know how many fertilized eggs you`re passing.
TattooedMommyOf2 (765.3 days ago) Honey, I have boys 11 months apart that turned 1 and 2 in Nov. The baby is a birth control patch baby. I had a MC in Oct that was a BC and busted condom baby. I`m pregnant right now with a condom that didn`t bust baby.
The safest means of not getting pregnant is getting fixed or not having sex. Nothing is 100%.
