california-mom (763.2 days ago) Changing table, diaper pail, diaper bag after my first lol, and baby bath.
military~mommy (763.5 days ago) A baby sling, it killed my back! And her changing table. When baby arrived it was too much to walk into her room to change her so we just used the couch or bed to change her.
MiniOface (763.5 days ago) Wow! I also LOVE my diaper genie and baby bath. We NEVER used newborn shoes. Mittens were also a waste b/c DS figures out really early how to remove them (he would just rub his hands together) Oh and baby nail clippers, I just bite them when he is nursing.
jenakers (763.7 days ago) Hands down the diaper genie. What a WASTE! Once I have handled a dirty diaper once there is NO WAY I want to handle it again and after sitting in the genie for even 1 day it is rancid to change! My husband would fight over who is changing the poop log. I use used ziplock bags, bread bags and grocery store bags. Bag it up, toos out back door and gather them up for the trash on the way to the car. Also I asked for TONS of diaper cream...I used 1 tube for my LO in 2 years.
mama-sl0p (763.8 days ago) I personally LOVE my diaper genie. What do you do throw your diapers in the trash can? GROSS! I also love the baby bath since I bathe my child every night. I agree the sleep positioner is a waste.
nutnut (763.8 days ago) diaper genie, changing station(table) ,wipe warmer (i hated it bc most of the time i was on the go, so wipes got left in there and if i forgot they ended up getting dried out bc i would forget to use the wipes in there. i would just automatially reach for the diaper bag rather than go all the way upstairs to use the changing station where i had the warmer)Also i never used the bottle warmer, or racks. i had a sterilizer thing too that i never bothered with. i had a back pack type carrier that i hated bc i had one heck of a time getting her out of it without taking it completly off and it killed my back. this time i got a sling peanut shell type. im hoping it will be better. binkies were useless as well bc my daughter didnt want any of them past the first few weeks of life. and lots of clothes and outfits. big waste of money since they grow way too fast she didnt even get to wear 3/4 of her newborn things.
Bexnz (763.8 days ago) changing table. always change her on the floor, every time some one walked past it they dumped junk on it, it ended up just sitting there covered in crap. so it had to go!! haha
maimai (763.8 days ago) baby bath! She hated going in there, so sh went in a shallow bath with one of us and she loved that!
rosye13 (763.8 days ago) diaper genie, our papasan vibrating chair (neither of my newborns liked it), newborn shoes (lol. No matter how cute they are, newborns don`t need shoes),
soon2be3 (763.9 days ago) This is funny! We used sleep sacks for the kids until they outgrew them...around 9 months. Was especially great in the winter because they don`t sleep with any blankets. I looooved my bottle warmer. I breastfed, so when hubby needed to warm up some breast milk, he could just put it in the holder and within about two minutes it was a great temp. Microwaving breast milk isn`t recommended and running it under water takes forever and wastes water. I got a diaper genie with my first and never used it. Instead, we always kept a garbage can in the garage, next to the door. Swing...all our kids loved to be in the swing. Life saver...especially when they were sick and couldn`t breath laying down at night. Oh and I loved my baby bath. I did take baths with the little one, but when that wasn`t practical, I could just plop them on the counter and wash away. Pack n play...use it when we visit friends or family and the little one needs a nap. Also use it camping so he has a safe place to sleep and can`t wander out. The thing that I didn`t ever use...all those various types of lotions and powders people give you. I generally only use California Baby or Bert`s Bees products, so all the others were re-gifted.
hannahe (763.9 days ago) diaper geni and a bottle warmer....its called a microwave.
MelissaJoanne (763.9 days ago) We got a pack n play with some gift money, and I`ve used it a total of once (I set my daughter in it while I brought in a heavy table from outside, for about 2 minutes). She sleeps with us which made the bassinet useless, we didn`t keep her diapered often which made the changing table useless, and she plays where she wants to - I couldn`t imagine putting her in a little soft cage to play. It seemed like something I might need sometime for some reason, but evidently not, :-)
BabyBsmomma (Joni) (763.9 days ago) i would also say baby food/bottle warmer..and a sleep position er thing
T3POandR2D2 (764 days ago) Receiving blankets for the purpose of swaddling. We DID use them, but not for swaddling! My son HATED being swaddled.
ibaheir2dathrone (764 days ago) Her Jumperoo. She hated that thing! I loved my bath tubs. She had 2 different ones. One hard regular one (one side is for newborns the other side when they`re able to sit up) also have a blow up duck tub. She loved this one. (the beak has a quacker in it. Lol, when you squeeze it the duck makes quacking noises) :)
amandad74 (764 days ago) Baby bath, he was too long for it from the start and pre-shaped swaddle blankets :)
LKDream (764 days ago) I agree with the sleeping bag suit (whatever) The ones I have you can use in the car seat, only used it once or twice, luckily I got it as a gift. Then the `kango pouch` - I tried it one or twice but it is not made for me, also got it as a gift. There is the carrier that you put on your back - more for dad to you in the outdoors, it look like a back pack. I think it is `n very nice item when you walk routes, we just didn`t had the opportunity yet.
Then I never used a dummy chain, you pin it on to your babys clothes. There is the gloves you can give them to wear so that they don't scratch themselves, couldn't use it, his hands was too big.
The rest of the stuff I have is hande and used it at some stage or are still using.

firstlittleangel (764 days ago) I`d have to say the baby bath, we tried using it once and it was so awkward that we quit on it, we either gave her a bath in the kitchen sink or in the big bathtub, if you fill it about an inch deep then they can kick and play without getting water in their face. Binkies are tough too because you don`t know which kind they will prefer. Just got to try and see but the Bath was the biggest waste of money. Swaddlers were kind of a waste as well because my little one didn`t care to be swaddled, she wanted to have her hands out touching her face or hair.

andriette and christians mummy liz (764 days ago) Mmmm well the baby bath,it was a complete waste of money,we tried them all.We also bought those baby sleeping bags(those that canadababy is talking bout) and that a complete waste of money too.Only ok when theyre newborn and dont move around as much.We gave dd nuk dummies from birth and bought tommee tippee ones later on,she wouldt take any other dummy so those other were waste of money.Very unpractical too is newborn dresses,it rides up the whole time, better when they can walk or stand by themselves.Baby carrier used twice,my back couldt take the weight. Most used is the pram, camping cot(use it for her permanent sleeping place),full body suits that closes at the feet, long body vests, walker and bouncy chair.etc
MommyOf3But4ToBe (764 days ago) For us it was a TON of binkies... i got multiple in different brands, and of course had them all opened... he never took to a single one!
canadababy (764 days ago) We didn`t buy them, but we have 3 baby-bags, that`s probably not what they`re called but it`s like a snowsuit for the baby but no legs. Not possible to use in a car seat, lol, so when we take her out she`s already in a snowsuit that can be used in the car seat and we don`t have a sled to pull her around our neighborhood so we wouldn`t use it then. They`re really cute, but not very practical for us :)
