jessberr31 (757.8 days ago) I did the same one I think, not sure. But then it said I had to suscribe to one of their sponsers offers (which required a CC#) and I just exited the whole thing. But no one ever called me. Shoot, I guess if all they want is your address its cool, but I would never give my CC# or SS# or anything like that.
rosye13 (757.9 days ago) canadababy has a good idea. Call Victoria`s secret corporation and double check.
canadababy (757.9 days ago) They probably just want your address for marketing purposes, and to send a gift cert but if you give them your address you`ll probably start getting tons of stuff in the mail. I might even be inclined to call Victoria`s Secret head office and ask them about it.
soon2be3 (757.9 days ago) The questionnaire asked for name, address, phone number. Then, it went into the survey about a bunch of products and if I would like more information about them. When the gal called to notify me that I had `won`, she said she had to ask a few questions to make sure I qualified...1) What year I was born. 2) What year I graduated High School. 3) What major credit cards I am most likely to use(I told her we don`t use credit cards). 3)Since I don`t use credit cards, which type of debit card I use (visa, mc). I told her I didn`t know.
KR (758 days ago) if they are just looking for an address to send the certificate to i would think it was ok. But if they want your e mail, credit card numbers and other personal information they i wouldnt go threw with it.
soon2be3 (758 days ago) I was bored on Sunday, so I was playing on Facebook. I entered a Victoria`s Secret gift certificate contest. It started asking me random marketing questions and I felt uneasy. So, I exited off my computer. I got a call yesterday, letting me know that I had won the gift certificate. I think this is a total scam now and I don`t know what to do. Any advice? I am afraid of them stealing my FB account or hacking into my personal information.
