smiling politely (755.6 days ago) i agree completely with Melissa. just as it did during pregnancy, your body is designed to perfectly meet the needs of you baby. my nephew was like your bub, although now he is 2, he is about average for his height/age.

MelissaJoanne (756.8 days ago) Kellymom gives a better breakdown than I could describe. Short answer, the quality/content of your diet has little affect on your milk. Your diet will affect you, but your milk is designed to be the perfect food and take what it needs from your body/diet to provide for baby.

Angel-baby (756.8 days ago) For instance, if I were to eat a chocolate cake with 2000 calories verses a salad with 500 calories, does those calories transfer to the baby or does baby get balanced nutrients?? My LO`s weight is off the charts for his age.. I dont feel that I over feed him. He feeds about every 3-4 hours for about 10 minutes total. On occasion he doesn`t go that long and curious if what I am eating is causing him to weigh what he does? Or if he is just going to be a `bigger` baby?? Hope this makes sense and TIA
