nmck (748.6 days ago) We just tried this this week: Put cream of chicken soup and veggies (we put a lot) in crock pot. Cut raw chicken breasts into smallish pieces and throw them in too. We cooked all day on low. My husband ate it over some egg noodles. But since my son is allergic to eggs, he ate his over a toasted whole grain (frozen) waffle. I tasted it, and it was delicious!
canadababy (748.8 days ago) I love the slowcooker :) Throw some chicken, your favorite Campbells cream soup and some potatoes and carrots and leave it for the day. Or just a roast, potatoes and carrots are good too..
marli (748.8 days ago) Oh, and it freezes really well too so I usually make a double or triple batch.
marli (748.8 days ago) chili is a fave in my house! I brown up my hamburger the night before usually and pop it into the crockpot the next day. tomato paste, garlic, whatever `spicyness` you want to add, kidney beans, onion, corn and diced tomatoes. It`s super easy and looks like you spent all day preparing it =)
MommyOf3But4ToBe (748.8 days ago) At the current it is Me, DH, 12 and 10 year old, picky 2 year old and one on the way.... It seems as if we eat the same thing over and over again. it would be nice to add variety into our meals that are quick and easy, especially on the days where i am just exhausted... Any and all recipes will be greatly appreciated... Thank you!!
