I would go with your conception date. Doctors tend to go by your LMP because women remember those days and may not even know when they ovulate. Keep in mind that sperm can live in your body up to 72 hours. Personally, I would go with the conception date.

they say is you KNOW the date of conception...which is rare but you can pinpoint it by a couple days...then go that way...because there is a difference in those dates

My OB took into consideration my LMP but she went off of the measurement on the US.

Just b/c you had sex on Jan 10th does not mean you conceived then. The sprem can live in your body for up to three days.

Neither unfortunately. It all goes by the day it implanted pretty much! They will date you accordingly with an ultrasound.

Yes but it is a very accurate way of finding out your due date; they take the conception time into account, and they calculate when the due-date would be (i.e. they add on the amount of time the prengnancy will take.) It`s just their way of calculating it. Pregnancy is 266 days from conception, or about 280 from your LMP.

it just seems so off. since I KNOW the ONLY day we had sex in the last 5 months was jan 10th.

I would go by your LMP due date until your OB changes your date, if that time comes :) Your OB will go by your LMP date anyway, I wouldn`t want to go by different dates than my dr..
