LATER because the muscles are stretched? That`s a contradictive statement and I think your Dr. just mispoke. I`m sure they meant SOONER because the muscles are already stretched.

With my first it was around 24 weeks, with my second it was around 20 weeks and i`m pregnant with my third (20 weeks) and just started showing. So I guess i`m one of the weird ones who shows around the same time, everytime.

With my first I started showing at around 5 months. All the rest it was way earlier.

I think he just got his words wrong! because your muscles are already stretched out you will show sooner because the muscles aren`t tight holding the pregnancy in hiding it. Congrats!

He must have meant `earlier` because your muscles are stretched out, that`s the reason I`ve always heard.

Maybe he said later but meant sooner??? I know I`ve accidentally said the opposite of what I meant sometimes without thinking. If not...maybe you SHOULD get a new doctor. LOL

that sounds really silly to me- i think he should have said `because your muscles are ALREADY stretched out, you WILL show sooner` all the pregnant women i have ever known or talked to- all showed sooner with the subsequent pregnancies...i mean- i by no means am a doctor! but that seems to be the consensus..;)

That`s what I thought. Maybe I need a new doctor... I am 13 weeks and I think I`m not showing baby weight but my tummy is being displaced and that`s definitely showing!

With my first, I started showing at around 20 weeks! With this one I started showing at around 13-14! I`ve always heard you show earlier.
